This one's been around awhile but I finally had to comment. It really creeps me out, in a good way. Any photo that evokes such a strong emotion is 100 percent successful in my book. Perfect b/w, love the intense eyes, sense of impending doom, the bars surrounding the emergence of the figure from the dark. I love scary things but I have to go on because it is late and this is going to give me nightmares. Love it!

you captured the mood that you were going for eloquently... really beautiful lighting, I can see the anne rice influence, an old favorite of mine from adolescence. Seems you have passed onto your children the joy of seeing the world creatively, and of finding beauty even in darkness.

keven, your right about something being written on the top of the stairwell above his head, I noticed it also, but didnt notice it when I took the photo, if I get the chance Ill go back and see what it says, there is another photo I want to get out of here anyway,,, but I think it says "Dead"

Is there something written above his head, on the bottom of the upper floor (errr... "side of the ceiling"? What's that called?) there? What does that say?

Ooooohhhh Marty...Very scary. I love the kind of scary movies where you don't know what is going to happen next..Only the wind..I'm about really tense at this moment...Either this guy left me at the bottom in the dark..I'm shaking..Or is coming after me to take me to the bottom in the dark..still shaking..Love this...Or if I'm at the bottom already is going to get you next?
