About	No idea what the farm is called, it's at Manikinholes near Todmorden on the Lancs/Yorks border, but the spikey thing is Stoodley Pike. A monument put up at the end of the Napoleonic wars, actually fell on the first day of the crimean war (spooky) so they had a whip round the to fund the building of this new one. 131 feet high and you can walk up it apparently!!

nice shot. great composition; it really has a cloudy, cold day somewhere out in the country a few hundred years ago sort of feel to it.

Of the 50 shots I got of this tower, I liked this the best cause I managed to get a decent diagonal line from the house, tree and tower.

The intention was to make it look grim, uneasy, tense - that kind of thing. Like someone's above you in a "big brother" kind of way.
