Wow, the depth and clarity on this is amazing. Studios sound really cool, I have never seen one. Do you have your own?

Hi Loiuse, Thanks for your comments and suggestions - much appreciated. I am looking into adding textures, but have a ways to go... I learn more and more each day by looking at the photos here on usefilm... They show me more of what is possible (like ordering from a menu), then I go on the hunt for how to pull it off myself. Cheers! Sam

It is nice, but I find the lighting a little too even. A lesser ratio would bring out the nice shadows and textures a bit more in the flowers. I would also like to see just a bit more space around the top of the flower. What I really like is the monocromatic feel of this. May be neat to try some subtle texture overlays on the whole thing. Fun to play!!

Hi Lily, I used a portable flash unit aimed at an umbrella (used as the front, main light), and a portable flash unit on a light stand (with a StoFen diffuser) as a side light... Thanks for the comment... Sam

I like it. Trying it with red roses might be interesting. No softboxss used in this shot?

Classy image Samuel! Another flower composition, graceful and elegantly presented. There is poetry in the simplicity of this particular music that I appreciate. Very good work, technically. C
