This is a fantastic shot, I love how this woman is walking just ahead of the looming shadows oblivious to what's behind her. I think (in my opinion) i would have cropped the top of the photo to the top of the second step, creating more impact and eliminating the light spot above. Alison

very nice capture here, is has a theatrical yet street feel to it. the lighting and oversized shadows give it this theatrical sense, yet it clearly has a sense of movement and everyday normality to it. the horizontal shadow near the bottom works very well with the ajoining right vertical shadow to create a frame and eye movement pattern. nice work.

James, The photo was taken a couple of months ago inside the recently reopened MOMA (museum of modern art) in New York City. It is a great space with wonderful views of both the art and the people viewing the art. I have one or two other shots posted from the same day in NYC. There are one or two more that I'd like to post as well, if I get the chance. Mark

this is a very good shot. evokes images of the world of espionage in a couple of ways, altho the title would have to be changed for that. where was this picture taken mark?

wooww hello mark.. the shadows are always much evocative! one big and beautiful composition.. much personal! here where there are the shadows of the persons behind, the persons lack, and here where there is the woman lacks the shadow! one big contrast-opposition! my best wishes roby 7

Tiro, Thanks for your kind words. Some good planning on my part and a dose of good luck I think. But, I particularly like the horizontal shadow at "Edith's" feet and the vertical shadow line framing the stalkers. Best regards, Mark
