George, thanks for your comment. Actually I do have a horizontal picture. I haven't scanned the slide. However, in the print version, I feel that it's just simply a nice picture. The eyes seem just to wonder around, more like an average postcard, here I prefer the vertical format with the rocks in front leading you towards the mountains in the back... I will scan my horizontal pictures, I would like to hear your opinion. THanks again for stopping by... regards, Rafael

thank you for the nice comment. I truly appreciate it. I tried to capture, as you so well put it, the different elements you mentioned. I was looking to capture, the different type of sands, the green of hte plants, and the different "textures". Thanks for your observations indeed. Regards, Rafael

Don't know why people walk past this shot .. it's a very rich composition, showing us 5 elements in the landscape from fore- to background .. interesting cirrus sky to complete it .. and most of all beautiful colour gradations !
