Thanks Hugo for your appreciation. I am glad that you liked my work.
Well, the difficult part of photographing snow is getting the correct exposure. In this image though I metered on the ice and opened half stop, the final image got too very white. To bring out the details of the pattern on snow I has to adjust the levels and curves in Photoshop.
It's fun and a very interesting hobby. Enjoy taking phtographs.

Hi Aurobindo, The shrub in the foreground make this image tick. It adds an excellent reference to the sheer size of the lake. Also, the curves in both the ice as well as the tracks guide the eye perfectly throughout the whole image; very well composed, and a mesmerising scene.
