About i was just heading out to get some photos of the sunset from the beach near my home but then remembered i hadn't charged my battery...rats! But then Tim just happened to come by & lent me his gear & so i was able to run out & capture some shots of the northwest storm that has moved in, bringing cold winds & waves with it. It seems there is never a dull moment here, wrapped in the beauty of this incredible environment.

Magnificent winter mood, agitated and dramatic, well composed, too.

hi jennifer
I do not have words in order to define this photo I find it decidedly fantastic! the tones seem surrealistic that blue, deep, intense! you have captured a end of ancient and bewitched world! one beautiful frame.
take care

A very strong shot, and very well done for being "on the fly" as it were. Talent shows through.

Well done... for the contrasts are there... showing the virtual 'calm' before the storm!

Outstanding lighting and a fantastic viewpoint, Jennifer! The rewards, for not being afraid to brave the elements. Nice work! ..Brad

Very cool .. "cool" capture Jennifer. Nice timing. I had the same thing happen last week. Didn't have the telephoto and there was an amazing sunset. Keep up the great work and bundle up : ) Tara
