About This tree fascinated me. It has stood for so many years and withstood so many harsh weather conditions. And yet it still stands proud an d even though it seems to have lost much of its life, it stands out from its surroundings. Maybe we can learn from this tree.

This image was taken on a very overcast rainy day.

Stephen Biven, you requested me to shoot an image of this tree for you, so here it is. Please enjoy!

I am not to sure. I haven't been here long enough to notice much of a difference. I suppose only time will tell.

It fascinates me too Judi. It's bareness seems to screaming out "Help me". No doubt though it has been there longer than any of us will live. Therefore I find your title very appropriate.

Hi Judi! I think Paul Lara hit it on the head! VERY Entish! I half expect to see a follow on image of it striding into the distance with a pair of hobbits nestled in its branches! Beautiful lighting and detail. So its rained?! A rare day indeed! No more shared showers for Damion then.... ;-)

A very nice portrayal of a rather dead looking tree my friend. It no doubt has been home to various families of birds, squirrels and possibly snakes over its lifetime. From my forestry experience, I'd think its end is near.......:-((
