You just gave me an idea.. I am going to tell the Barrister that I am not satisfied and that I will only be happy if he sends me a pic of himself, naked, with a figure like this shaman painted on his chest... :-)

I went out and took a photo of one of many petroglyphs today to send to you. Most of them are so thin that it is hard to see them unless you know where they are. this one seems to be a Killer Whale

Tim:
You will see me start to post images of petroglyphs... it is a bit odd to take digital photos of rock art thousands of years old. However, based on your wide angle style of photography you can put the glyph in the foreground and get some really neat images.
What is also incredible is that with the resolution and transportability of digital media you can send copies to your favorite archaeological institution in case they are worn away or defaced.
A bit of the old and a bit of the new.

Photograph them now before they are all gone. This painting is hundreds if not thousands of years old.
Petroglyphs are especially neat as well.

there are many of these on the island that I live on but they are wearing out with time... a shame... the feeling around these old images is so tangible and fascinating
