Fabrice, thanks for your comments on several of my photos. I dont' recall the exact location for this one, but it was on the rive droite somewhere 0-1 km west of the islands.
I considered cropping out the light but I decided the image is better framed with the light included, and its presence makes more clear that it's a night (or twilight) shot. You're right that it's a distraction, though.

Wow beautiful capture that you've done here Ken. I like it very much. You know, I'm asking me if it is not the same place from which I catched "two" and "alones" (but I was above). It seems.. Anyway, the tones are really nice, and the subject in the middle gives the feeling of loneliness. I have only a small regret : the light on the upper part is too strong and attracts the eye, while the light of the whole composition is really nice and gives rise to an obscure atmosphere as Peter said. Congrats Ken for this nice work. Fabrice
