I agree I do tend to centre the thing I am interested in. Unfortunately, in life I have a mathematical, rather than artistic background! Thanks for taking the time to comment & I will try to bear in mind what you have said in the future.

Prefer this to "Thawing", largely because of the wonderful pattern of the walls on the hillside. Perhaps the trees on the top of the hill could be slightly more off-centre. I don't mind the top of the wall at the bottom of the image - but you can always crop it if it bothers you... AJ
