Hi Doug
Thank you for your great comment. I dont have that many tricks to give you about that camera. But here is what I do almost everytime. I always use the spot meter to meter different part of the area I want to photograph and see the difference of stop between the brightest and darkest part. Then I try to adjust so I have no blown highlights. If this is not possible, I will use ND Grad filter. YThese are absolutely a must if you shoot film. It is also always good to bracket 1 stop higher and 1 stop lower if you are in hard situation like this shot. Feel free to contact me by email if you have any further questions...pat@timecatcher.com

As so very often, I am tremendously impressed with what you do with slide film. This one has a very special atmosphere and you have used Velvia to rescue a beautiful image from all those dark shadowed areas, without losing the gorgeous sky. Phew!
