About I know this isn't a good shot but had to post it anyway. I wasn't sure what I was shooting until I viewed it and found out they were PINK and spoonbills. First year I've noticed so many but then this is the first year with a better camera to capture more.

Thanks Steve, When I see pelicans flying in the distance they remind me of terydactyls (sp?)...LOL...so know exactly what you mean. Hope to get to this wildlife perserve to hopefully see more flocks like this. Marilyn

They look like miniature dragons flying ... yes I know you don't see many of those but I just watched that movie "Dragonslayer" lol

Wonderful photograph, I wouldn't have been able to catch one let alone four !!

Best wishes,

Steve

I often don't know what I've captured until I get the imade on the puter Marilyn. Although this is different I'm still glad you posted it. I like how the wings are blurred but the bodies and necks are sharpish.

I like it like this - the different wing positions convey the motion very nicely...

Thanks for your comment Ethan. One day they will be closer and I will get a more focused shot. They are such interesting birds. Marilyn

It would be nice if it could be zoomed in a bit closer, but it's still an interesting shot. I like how each one's wings are in a different position.
