Cropping probably didn't occur to me because I liked the idea of the buildings in the distance, especially the blue. The photographs I took on this visit tend to lack colour, partly because of the time of the year (as I remarked earlier in my reply to Raul).

Yes, but only one visit - and I never made it to Sofia (unless you count the airport). I liked Plovdiv and there were interesting sights to see within a half-day's drive from there. Maybe one day I'll get back...

Thanks, Raul. I like colours a lot, but the end of winter in Bulgaria could look bleak - except, of course, for the colours of the houses and the clothes of some of the people.
