You're right, you have a special way of seeing things. I think I'm similar, because when I see something beautiful, like a mood or feeling, I want to see how it would look as a photo. To me, they look hopeful and calm, looking out into a world that can sometimes be cold and unfeeling. Maybe we project a little bit of what we're feeling to them.

I love your goldfish shots, jennifer, unusual images that demand a second look. There is a sort of desperate tranquility here, imprisonment in slow motion, not the pacing of a caged panther, but a fatalistic "mood" as though of resignation. Good color and light (I like the light coming from above)... Very nice.
