Who cares of proportions! You can print full frame and then frame it as a crop. Isn't it? The bottom side (half of the photo) is too on the darken side to me and doesn't add any mood. But that is just my POW and it might be too subjectve or wrong.

May be in ur opinion....but u would lose the exact proportions and mood(love bottom misty) of the photo.Of course ,i have shoted also orizzontally;the way u suggest could be obtained(more or less) with a 6x6 or better 6x7 format(without cutting picture)but i haven't ,leave it those good ones.
