Jen please dont despair there is an image in everything but in particular look at the abstractions of Richard Diebenkorn and remember the most commonplace is spectacular in the eyes of the right vision http://www.artchive.com/artchive/D/diebenkorn.html this is a start point only it was a ggogle search
