Unfortunately, Red square is one of the few surviving pictures. Customs agents, which are not particularly fond of people, had me, and everyone else, put the film in the bag and scanned it not once or twice but 3 times. The mood is somber in this place and I hope this picture conveys the "greyness" that looms over Mother Russia. Yet, some of the people are so kind and warm...
Oh no, they did not confiscated the film, just scanned it to death in their machines. I think by now they upgrade to more modern version. THey just refuse to manually check the film. Thinks have change a lot in recent years, but the humor and the temperament of custom officials remains a bit too "old_soviet" style, Suspicion is the order fo the day at all times. Regards, Rafael
Is that so, they confiscated all your film, even if you are a amateur ??? I thought mentality had changed since the 1990's.. Your shot is very pleasing .. of course pity the police left their self-portrait .. Peter
