About
This antelope, amongst many, were quietly eating when suddenly began running away. There were a couple lioness near by. They moved incredibly fast and was hard setting up for the shot, and after many blurred shots, the last one finally turned out ok. Any advice in shoting fasting moving objects in a moment's notice will be greatly appreciate it. Camera was set up on continuous shot mode and managed to set shutter at 1/125 while panning on the moving antelope. Aperture was set up by the camera aperture mode. P.S. Happy to report, no antelope was lunch at that time.
Thanks for your comment Jarek, I only did the auto-focus in PS and it "liven" the image, probably the same thing you mentioned. Never used PS until 2 weeks ago, tho.
Fast moving subjects, such as antelope, are extremely diffcult to shoot, even some of the worlds best wildlife photographers dont get the shot the first time. The only thing I could say is be ready for the action to start at a moments notice. I have the F100 myself and, if I'm excepting some fast action, I preset the camera for such. This is a nice shot for the first try. Keep shooting and good luck Jim Gamble
