I took about 200 pictures, and this is one of my favorites, and just because of what you pointed out.
I was quite close to the ground, just in the first row, near the goal and the corner. I was lucky that they celebrated the goal scoring right in front of me, so I was able to take some close-up photos. I only have the 70-200 in the telephoto realm, and it's pretty short for soccer, unless you are allowed to move here and there like photojournalist are. Maybe I could get a press pass and...
Lots of energy in the scene, each players face is saying something. Could have cropped down a bit tighter though at the right. Where were you in the stands? Looks quite close.
