I agree with the cropping. This was straight out of the camera, and not taken by me. The Rule of Thirds isn't a rule my wife knows ... yet!

Sean - it's a great shot. My only complaint is the over exposure which is easily corrected with a fill layer and some adjustment layers. See below...I think a tight crop keeps your eyes trained on the subject. :)
The bigger question is - was it a blast?
