Evina, this is such a wonderful and evocative image!
It seamlessly combines dynamism and vitality with static and stagnant. The statism is with those walls and bathtub, while the dynamism is more in an emotional realm - in the woman's emotions that are surprisingly expressed on her calm face.
The level of contrast is perfect to (1) hide the distracting details and (2) to move the perception into subconcious domain, which greatly contributes to the success.
The tone is perfect and enhances the "old" look of the image.
Congratulations for this simple, yet great work of photography.
