About This simple photo is about the "about".
This "Star of David" with the S inside, simbolizing Susi, was "manufactured" by an inmate of the detention camp on Mauritius in which Susi and her family were detained during WW II. It was given to Susi (now Rachel) by her father for her 5th birthday after he had bought it from the man who had "manufactured" it. As soon as I have translated it, possibly tomorrow, I'll send the story about Susi (Rachel)'s father by e mail to anyone who want to have it sent to him/her. My e mail address is on my bio.

aim of photography can vary from simply diffusing radiations in terms of colors and lights, giving the watcher a great sense of satisfaction, or might have some more subtle objective, such as narrating a story, which can be sad or happy.
This photo actually tends to reach both of the aims, with a great texture, details and such pleasant colors.
Congratulations Rafi...
Maurizio

Linda foto, e a cor vermelha é bem marcante!
Pelo que pude entender, esta estrela simboliza um manuscrito que hoje está em tuas mãos.
Do you have the translated? I want.
Regards,
Roberta

The "Star of David" has now been given to Rachel's Grand-daughter, Maya, Who incorporated it in a "roots" work about the origin of her (Maya's) family
