Allison: I have some advice. Leave it alone. This picture is awesome as it is (IMO) with wonderful tones and soft enough to accent the subject like portraits of this nature should do. The expression (and capture) are priceless. This is a stunning shot with perfect DOF and the composition is spot-on!

I agree. This is a very sweet photo the way it is. You don't want to loose the fine detail in her sweater. The soft tones on her face are fine due to the darkness in her eyes and mouth.

I'm not sure about adding the extra contrast.. I'd be really wary of the whites blowing out. You could try masking the white sweater and maybe her hair, and then applying a bit of contrast just to the other areas. Or create a layer for the contrast, and then erase over the sweater parts to get rid of blow-out. It's a beautiful little shot of a cute girl - love the sweetness of it.

I love this how it is allison. the tones are very soft and delicate with such sweetness. excellent capture. I like her her hair is hanging down on her forhead and that beautiful smile.
