I like it also but I like the other one more.. guess because the person was more mysterious being further away... maybe if he was walking away from the camera it would be more moody and mysterious.. guess I got spoiled with your other image :) good work

Hi Patrick,
the focus is not on him, because in my opinion the focus is on his past...he is coming out from his personal nightmare...
I like this atmosphere that is like to see at itself in a bad dream.

I like this one as well as the very bold person adds some interest to the misty setup. the only thing I would think about is off-centering the person next time. ;-)

Excellent moody image - very interesting. On one hand it seems a happy image - a friend coming emerging from the mist - a welcoming image. On the other hand it seems a dark and eerie image - an unknown stranger (with a hint of malice) emerging from the unknown. Very powerful work, Patrick! I like this a lot!

This is another wonderful shot Patrick, I have the feeling that I should be running the other way, he almost seems like he is about to start a chase, very eerie esp. with all of the mist and the tall skinny trees. Well done~

Awesome capture. Is this a friend? It is perfect that he is wearing dark colors to go with the rest! I don't think the focus is a problem, especially with the mist. It goes together. Yes, this one grows on me too. T.

Ahh when I saw the thumbnail I knew this was one of Patrick Jacobson's images. And I was right.
I like this image a lot. The expression on the mans face is one you are unsure if you could trust or not. The dark covered clothing also depicts the same feeling. That combined with an eerie atmosphere gives a compelling image.
