You got me with this one Neil. Fantastic capture, just what I've been after for so long. Well done!!!! Saw it earlier today but I've been sooo busy at work cos I'm away for a couple of days on a jolly! Will be at Man U tomorrow night - my fourth ever football match would you believe. Hmm... I may have to wait until next spring when there will be much better light. I was surprised I managed to capture it without it being all blurry, given the dreary weather and conditions.

Well done! I have so many "almost" photos of the heron I see on a regular basis. This is a nice capture. why are they so camera shy?
