PS: you have some really great photographs in your portfolio. I would comment more but my own little one is announcing the end of nap time with increasing stridency.
Good subject, nice sentiment :-] .. I think this photograph could have been improved by zooming in on the faces of mother and child, or possibly even tighter. Also, it should be bigger than 450 x 350. The light coming in through the window would have been perfect for that kind of shot.
Having said that, however, I also think that pulling back like this to show the story being read and the overall clutter of the nursery gives context and makes this a moment in time rather than just another pretty picture. So it works both ways.
