Hi James...nice macro...but the cut out is alittle too ovbious. The white line around the edges gives it away....the best results I've seen like this are w/ black fabric/paper underneath and behind the subject, to really put the focus on the insect. The detail and sharpness of the 'hopper is great, but a more subtle bckgrnd would work better - of course, in my opnion only.

A graphic grasshopper with impact! Quite an original presentation. It may be a tad oversharpened because I am seeing an outline all around the hopper.
