Location City -  Warsaw
State -
Country - Poland   Poland
About This is just a small section of the left side of the Lazienki Palace (AKA the "Palace on the Water") that sits in Lazienki park which is part of a great complex of heritage gardens. This is also the location of the wonderful monument which depicts Poland's most celebrated composer Frederic Chopin. (Chopin is now buried in one of Europe's most famous cemeteries, Pere Lachaise in Paris, along with other great artists such as Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison.) Even though Warsaw was bombed to near total ruble by the Nazi's in 1939 there are still beautiful areas that were missed or rebuilt from the original plans - such as the charming "Old Town"(Stare Miasto) which is a great place to people watch, take photo's, and have a meal and a few drinks. Even though the beauty of pre WW II Warsaw is gone forever due to the blitzkrieg (there's always some very troubled nut jobs who love to start wars, ruin people's lives, homes, cities, and countries and think nothing of it. We have them now and we had them then) it's still a very worthwhile city (and country) to visit. I highly recommend it (especially for Americans who vote for "War Presidents". They really need to get out more and see what the REALITY of war is like - even decades later) No PS used. Scanned from an 8x10 print on an Epson flatbed.

...Better than Valium (but W's voice will still be inside my head. Did he start a new war yet?)

Dear Biliana, Feel free to work on it my dear - you have my permission (it's only about 100 years old) It's Christmas season so I'm putting my "oldies" up - anything shot with the F-1 (or AE-1) Kisses, Mark

Nice view dear Mark, but you do need more contrast made in PhotoSHop!
