About I know this resembles a prehistoric animal, however it happens to be a badly diseased hedgehog, I saw him staggering along yesterday and found him some snails which he eagerly devoured. Perhaps I should have put him out of his misery because he obviously is at deaths door. Stephens mouse was a much happier picture. I am not sure but I believe hedgehogs are a protected animal.
