Thanks for the praise Jorg! You have a very impressive portfolio yourself. I would be happy to help ID some of your images, but there are so many tropical butterflies that could trounce my limited knowledge with their mimicry.
Best regards,

Jorg Reif   {K:16020} 11/27/2004
Hi David, looked at your portfolio, we have some common interest. Beautiful shot here with the butterfly again well separated from the soft background. The Introduction of a secondaryobject gives the picture balabce and makes it more lively and less academic. Great portfolio! best regards Jorg. You seem to have knowledge of systematics. May I come back to you sometime to get a link how to identyfy butterflys from pics. I have got a couple, where I would like to have the name.

beautiful capture and lovely subject - unbfortunately i've found out that they're only naitve to the usa so i guess this will be my only chance of seeing them :( thought of buying a brerding kit and introducing them into the local fauna but the conservation officer would probably kill me - still a thought however :)
