About	As we got to the Iwo Jima Memorial, a group of Marines were marching up to the memorial. They hung around taking pictures, etc. The thought ran through my mind that sometime soon some of these guys might be out there fighting and as this conflict is added to the base of the memorial (every conflict that the US Marines have fought in is carved into the base of the monument with the dates) it might be some of these guys (and girls) being memorialized.
