John, I like the little bits of light reflected on his face - through his hat. -- Debby

Thanks for your comment Richard. I think you have answered your own question. By constraining the view to the elements I have chosen to include I have created a sureal feeling out of an everyday scene. The same feeling that Jeanette intimated at.

Movie Directors do this all the time with pictures and music. An everyday scene with music that has a hint of menace can change the viewers perception and create a feeling of unease. Deconstruction often has more narative than carefully crafted construction.

You showed a good technique. But with this ability comes the responsibility to create. What is the story you are telling? Man goes to the races in workclothes? Well, I like it anyway and it does have that surreal feeling.

Thanks for your comment Jeanette. It's often just a slight shift in the fabric of reality that creates that feeling of unease. Sometimes fact is stranger than fiction. Regards John

Shouldn't have told me it was a composite John. Did you use a noise sleaning programme on the background? Seems to be the difference. Love the straw colours.

beautiful colors and composition in this one john. i agree with jeanette - there is something mysterious and almost unreal about it in a hitchcock kinda way - i mean everything appears simple and ordinary yet it doesn't feel so. a great shot!
regards, d

I have got so unreal feeling of this...maby because of the montage, but that doesen?t mean it?s bad. It has a little scary atmosphere, almost if something bad are going to happend.
