About Picture of an old dock with the morning sun.

I think I'm having a bad picture day. I just can't seem to be happy with what I have been doing. Anyone else get the same feeling? How do you deal with it:)

My favorite photos are those that both have good photography and interesting subjects. You have both in this photo. Even though it is falling down, I think I could stand on that dock and cast as fishing is my favorite sport. Nice photo. Del.

Yes, I have experienced those days. And yet, the very next day, you seem to pump out your best work. Go figure!!

With regards to this image, the colours and composition are fantastic. Maybe you could try the levels are little bit to pump it out the light a bit more.

I have that feeling right now!! I've not been happy with very many of mine in a long time. Sometimes you want to just say to heck with it, but then the passion returns and it's something I really love, so it comes back :) While looking at this, had I come up to this dock, with this lighting, I think I would have chosen a low angle, and include a little more foreground and a lot less background, thus making the dock more of the entire image. I would probably have stopped the composition just at the shoreline, possibly including a little of it. But that's just personal taste. It's still a lovely image, just as it is .

Great light, Jim! I get that feeling occasionally, too! I think it just take time to get the rust off and get back at it.

Great shot, the colours are lovely.

I've been having a bad picture month. I find sometimes you just have to put the camera down for a few days and let the brain recharge.

Going through it right now. It seems a little time seems to cure it, although my theory is for me personally the coming of winter depresses me, the leaves are gone and I wait until spring ). I like the shot btw, it is nice.
