About Then She Came and everything was Centered.

I didnt want to crop it.. under is a cropped version for you to compare with. I think the darkness make its easier for the eyes to see the very bright parts in the middle.. becomes a tunnel of some sort.

Comments are welcome!

Regards,

Patrick J

mi piace questa foto, ma penso che la donna sia un po' seria per il modo, mi piace di piu senza il "crop"
ciao ciao .

the shades and rich tonal range work much better in the original than in the cropped version

The most interesting part to me is are the two reflections in the doors. It breaks up the photo into a natural triptych. It may be one reason to why one associates to a church interior.

Hi Patrick,

like this one, as it shows a great distance between the viewer and the victim =)

the image tends to be a bit static though. I would go for a widescreen version.

tonal range and overall quality (especially exposure) is very good.

take care,
thilo

I like your composition here and the dark part, your b&w (light&shadow) pictures are really my taste:)
very good!

Ciao, Pia

P.S. thanks for your comment about my last portrait, but I didn't want a BIP to this photo (it was technically not perfect from the light, focus and scan) so I have to delete it.....:)

incredible perfectly balanced picture, the man or woman?? perfectly in the midle of the door and the incredibly perfect mirrors capturing some incredible reflections, the perspective is unbeatable and it shows us perfectly the walls, floor and roof of this beautiful architecture 7+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The uncropped version helps ease the eyes up gently onto the womans stature. Beautiful image and I love the dark, dark tones. Excellent work my friend.

Amazing - I get the same feeling as in a church and I undeerstand that can sound strange. Pherhaps it?s because of the symmetry you got here. Excellent Patrick.
