I'm sure glad you let me know what it is you did with this photo. Quite interesting! I can just see you hunched over a negative in the darkroom, stroking and pushing and trying to decide just what will work, knowing that you can't change it much once you touch it... (I'll take my digital darkroom, but if ever given the opportunity, I would also enjoy yours - something about the manual manipulation...)

What effects do they want with the manual manipulation. Maybe a color change. I use a smaller embossing tool for fine detail and a wider (flat) flexible plastic tool to blend the emulsions. I don't know if you've seen my pics or not. Just thought I'd let you know that I'm a fellow Pola Painter. : ) Tara

Thanks for the feedback it's always welcome:). This image is a SX-70 manipulation. I did nothing digital to it. After the image was exposed the dyes were manipulated manualy with a knitting needle. By varying the amount of pressure you can simulate brush strokes. Keith

I like the general idea, but I think the effect isn't very well balanced. The bottom half seems very heavy. Does your program offer the ability to adjust the amount and balance of the effect? With a little more tweaking, I think this could be really neat. I looked at your portfolio, and you have some very interesting shots there.
