Great framing and everything Sam - you already know the only fault - the blur. I think this is a great shot in many important respects.

Sam what a cute dog, and you have good footprint marks in the sand. it is always difficult to get the eyes especially when working withblack and white, have had a very quick little play see if you like margaret

He looks like a real character. I love the composition. Really nice shot. Only thing I would aim to do differently next time would be to get the eyes more prominent. All in all a good shot. Well done.

Agree on Carrie.. with the exception of the resolution trick I think this picture is pretty good. Difficult to make his eyes shine considering the black mask that covers his face (you could have called him Bandido!)

Very nice framing and composition. Good use of space around Cid. Try and remember the eyes when taking animals or people. Make sure they stand out.
Well done and keep going!

Hi Sam. With dogs I generally find it is better to take shots at eye level with the dog...but this really looks great. I wouldn't change anything. I like that he is sitting to the side as if to say, "These are the paw prints I made. Aren't you proud of me?" As far as photoshop and the blurriness try taking it from the orginial down to just under 360k and reposting it to maintain some of the higher resolution. Usefilm will adjust the pixels over 800 for you. According to my computer you pic is only at 171k right now. Hope that helps. Great Job! Carrie Rankin Watkins
