A picture of the early days, this was Ground Zero, or 1 World Trade Center, 6 months after 9/11. An empty void, and New York doesn't look the same since.
Yet there I was, shopping across the street at the Century 21 shopping mall.
No matter where life takes us, no matter who tries to hold us back, life moves on.
Although I, like many Americans, feel a personal loss from this tragedy, I know we will rebuild above and beyond anyone's expectations.
Tragedy exists everywhere ... I guess we here in the states are sheltered from what goes on everyday ... but what was delivered on 9/11 challenges the patriotism of every American I know who loves this country.
