About The 2nd of Nov, A day we shall all remember.. The day a great leader's life has ended, and with it a whole nation has been heartbroken..

People crying in the streets.. Locals and expats mourning the loss of this great leader.. Uniting prayers, joining in tears.. men and women, all the same..

We will miss you, our father.. You loved us.. and we loved you.. It's a bond that will never be broken.. And even though you are among us no more, you will always remain in our hearts..

May God rest his soul in Heaven.. Amen..

I am sad because I knew very little of this great man and fair leader while he lived, please accept my most sincere regrets at your loss.

I wrote a message with one of my images it is what I want with all my heart - an understanding and love for all life for Allah/God made it all and we out of respect should cherish all life for the miricle it is, the message goes: -

I live in Hope that one day I may see peace in my time,
Hope, that there will be harmony between all faiths and cultures,
Hope, that we will see just how precious and unique this world of ours really is, and treat it with the respect that it deserves - It's long overdue.

Your leader was and shall always remain a great man who did wonders for his people and humanity.
May he walk with his fore-fathers in paradise in the favour of Allah.

I'd lost my words and my pen had fainted when I heard that we'll never see our leader again..

Our leader!!... he was more than a leader to us.. he was our father, teacher, leader, and sheikh.

but he will still be living in our souls.. and we'll remember him wherever we go..

Allah yir7amah o eda'7lah el jannah enshallah..

Dearest Rawabi,
My condolences to you, to all the UAE friends on usefilm and to all the UAE people.

You honor me by sharing your sad news.

As we are in the holy month of Ramadan and soon the Eid will come, my mind and heart go out to you because I can't forget this will be your first Eid without your beloved president.

Please remember we are sharing your grief.

Hi Rawabi,
Yes, I have no doubt that many, many people will very much miss this man. He had a long life at 86 years of age. And no doubt he will be in many people's hearts from now on. He accomplished much.

A nice tribute,
Lori :)
