Well her "attitude" is funny to look at for a while, but I think this is far from a good fashion shot. (I'm not pretending I'm any better!)

The angle... well could be acceptable maybe, but in this particular situation it accentuates the "flaws" or the things I don't like about this image.

I just think that fashion photos should be dynamic... I think that their dynamic or vividness is what really intruiges the viewer. And here you have an expression that doesnt really fit this idea. So maybe it's just my idea ;-)

I find the lighting a bit harsh. I find it distracting that her foot touches the frame (which might not be the case on the slide)...

I don't know, the pose, lighting, expression don't really cooperate in a way that they tell something together... they don't really make for a consistant image. IMHO.

Sorry...

Regards,
Julien

Kodak EliteChrome Sorry
I shot in it color, and made a grayscale image in PS because I liked the b&w version better.

I like the picture, BUT the title (or your goal) falls short. This image is neither High Key nor High Contrast. Maybe you need to work on those techniques. High Contrast would/should have rendered the image as just Black and White with few or no mid tones. High Key would have had the model on a white background.

Also, I notice you shot this on Kodachrome 100 Slide film.... Are you sure? I didn't think Kodak made Kodachrome 100. And why did you make this into a B&W image? Was that to part of your goal?

Again, it?s the label I have a problem with, I like the picture.

lighting a little ghosty and fall off is definitely not high key...not your usual standard Terry...
