Hello Melanie, the results for the contest will be by the end of this month, sadly i have an issue with this image, the stupid lab did it wrong, and i didnt have time to reprint it, next time i will have to print 5 days in advance.

That is a suprisingly large print size you're required to submit.

Thanks for the information Hugo, the only think is that i dont have to send the image in a digital copy, i have to print it 20 x 25 and send it by mail, so i think it wouldnt be a problem.

Hi Miguel, that's a problem with Digital. Any fiddling with the image will show in the EXIF file. So if you send it in, make sure you send the original file.
Tweaking contrast and brightness can be done with film, so maybe they'll allow it. Check first, though...;o)

Yeah! Now you're getting somewhere! I think this is the embodyment of Hope / Esperanza.... It's nice and soft, and I love the innocense of those crystal clear eyes... Great shot. Only I would consider is punping the tonal range a bit (see also the attached image)

Hello all USEFILMERS, I am participating in a Photo contest in Colombia (Southamerica), the subject is "Children of my land" there are different categories, which are:
1.Destellos: its about the happiness of the kids here, wealth, happines,etc
2.Esperanza: all the poor children in this country
3.Rostros: which means Faces, just the faces of the kids, no matter what is poor or rich
4.Series: a series of 3-6 pictures
This image is for faces or the series, i still have one more.
Any comments?
