About now i eliminated the empty space at the left side as suggested from some photographers.
BUT i think, the empty space is essential...

your images are very clea, there?s nothing more then there should be in each of your works. To say truth, I prefer the first version, with the space on the left. I think it?s necessary. Well, also this way works very weel, but after awhile looking at the photo, I feel kind of pressing.... there?s no enough space for the eyes.

Hi Ekkehard, I completely agree, the empty space with the gradient are essential to this shot. This version is (compared to the other one) much more consise and closed, removing much of the atmosphere and appeal.

Cheers,

Hugo

Ekkehard, both images are excellent but I agree that the space is necessary. I wonder if an image with the tree at a point a third in from the left my be the best compromise?

I did not see the other version but this one is excellent. Very beautifull.

Love the high key effect and the composition is excellent.
The white framing adds emphasis and interest to the overall photo.
Wonderful work!
