Thank you for your comments, Joann. It was a very challenging light situation in the tunnel. The difference between the absolute dark surrounding me and the bright light of the entrance was extreme.
I agree with your comment about the landscape. Next year (the camping/biking trip is an annual event) I?ll take the tripod and try to capture both, the tunnel texture and the landscape. This was really more of a snapshot (with one hand while pushing the bike).
I love the details and textures of this tunnel. I can almost feel and smell the dampness from the moisture seen glistening on the walls. I find the bicycles and the white at the other end a bit distracting. Would have liked to have seen more landscape at the end of the tunnel, but it's a good photo overall. Blessings to you and yours.
