This is a wonderful nature still life study, Ellen! Magnus, I agree with everything you said, and it looks like a slug or a snail did the damage, which doesn't hurt the photograph at all -- in fact, it DOES add interest. Hell, I wanna take a bite. Great shot, Ellen, and an apropos frame/border.
Never commented on mushrooms but this shot is so much above average. The colours are more real than reality itself. The dof and the details are impressing. I love the fact that the middle mushroom is damaged,< as though some animal took a small bite. Wonderful
