About this is just down the beach from my place on Hornby Island. The skies are so dramatic every day that it's hard to not go out and take photos all day. It feels great to be out of the city ... such a country boy. The only draw back is that i am on dial up internet @ 56k.....sooooo slow.It takes minutes just to look at one page of thumbnails :(

I feel with you Tim, the urge to "fix/grab" this kind of scenes is stronger than oneself .. i even manage to get out early these days, something i never did before .. ;-))
Very strong composition with the relief in the foreground !
regards, Peter

what an excellent landscape with lots of potentials!
why don?t u try retaking this image hours later from the time this image was taken, so it wont be too bright and u wont have an over exposure problem?

Hi Tim
Another great shot..well done...the upper sky is a little distracting to me as it looks a little too burnt out.But hey...its a personal choice as always. You're very lucky having this on your doorstep..

Cheers
