Hi Laurie, Another excellent image! The reflection is stunning. I used to hangout there for months at a time 25years ago, just to climb the walls. fortunately I came to my senses and decided to remain closer to earth (horizontal not vertical). this image brings it back for me though thank you for your postings.
Cheers Tim

Hey Jim, I go to Yosemite at least 2 or 3 times a year. My favorite of all times is around the end of October when the leaves are at their peak of color and perhaps they've had a snow fall or two, but not so much that it doesn't leave enough detail in most mountain locations and is difficult to hike around in some of the best kept secret spots.

Lovely shot Laurie. What a fab place. I need to get there before I get too old. When is the best time, after Sept I would guess ? I don't want legions of people in my photos ;-) jimc

what a reflection! beautiful capture, Laurie.
I think the top half is overexposed. A graduation natural density, gray or blue filter would have helped.

Laurie, This is fantastic...as is the rest of your portfolio! I love Yosemite, and the southwest, in general. When I have a little time, I will look more closely at your work. At a quick glance, it looks fabulous! Thank you for this awesome memory of a beautiful place.. ...Brad
