I've been attracted by the icon, which made me think about some metaphisical paintings of Giorgio De Chirico. Once opened, the photo looked different: there was a boy, staring at me, puzzled by the idea of being taken in the picture ... perhaps.
But what really counts for me, in this shot, is the atmosphere of suspended harmony. The cold monumental columuns are made alive by the boy, who seems to tell us: at the end it is the human being and soul, which will survive, not the architecture itself.
