Como dizia a música brasileira "miséria miséria em qualquer canto".
Em São Paulo as pessoas sem casa, ultimamente estão sofrendo agressões, e morrendo nos hospitais.

The true poverty consists on knowing how to suffer valorously for the other ones, and in not allowing that the other ones suffer for us.

Incredible photo and incredible sadness at the same time Kim. Words alone cannot express all the sorrow in this picture - innocent children at the extreme of poverty, it is a very sad time indeed.

Sharp stones, objects and probably broken nails scattered everywhere and not one of the children have shoes on - it is a shame :-(

Very powerful photo !

Best wishes,
Steve

Oh...What a documentary, really poor people. Our countries are full of poor and miserable people, they need our help, our support, to maintain at least them minimal health requirements to keep them free of epidemics or diseases as possible.
I like your way of capturing your photos, highlighting the poor...Good work Kim, Keep it up.
Regards.

Your portfolio is filled with so many moving images. How humbling it must be to spend time among the very people that Mother Teresa herself wrote and talked about. You have done a wonderful job of preserving the dignity of your subjects, without diminishing the truth of thier poverty. God bless you and yours.
