Oh I love the textures of the wood! I also like how the water changes colour from pale on top to crisper blue at the bottom. The bird is an added bonus.
Would like to see the image straightened a bit.

Hi John, I like this closed composition. The pier in front, with the two, almost repetitive poles in the back. Very well composed, and a well balanced shot.

its early morning, but I see humor in this shot. The gull it thinking : Now who the heck put that stupid cone on that post so I can't stand there anymore" ? But then again I have been accused of being 1/2 a bubble off.
