About ...of Qin,the first Empiror of China,about 200 a.C.
Now on tour in a Museum in Nürnberg, considered as World Cultural Heritage and the eighth Wonder of the World.
The terra cotta warriors were accidently discovered 1974 by chinese peasants while digging a well.
1976 ,the second excavation revealed 1400 soldiers with horses, over an area of 64000 square feet!
If you are interested in more info about this sensation, please have a look at:
http://campus.northpark.edu/history/WebChron/China/TerraWar.html

This may be arduous, but it is a so interesting...and too difficult for me to explain here.
Thanks for your interest,or any critics,or comments!

The excavation is unique in its quality... for having been protected from the hoards of tourists... about one hour northwest of X'ian is what may be considered the oldest church (3c) in China... off the Silk Road in a farmer's field, which was converted to a temple... and now simply an empty building... but nine hours east by train there is the walled Ming town of Pingyao... which is likewise unique...
The sunmission capture the immensity of the Warriors!
Well done and thanks for sharing

I think it was good idea to show also solders in the foreground - in that way they contrast with highlighted army in the background.

Hi Thilo,hhmmmm...ehrlich gesagt???
Viel Spass,Ursula
